In Their Shoes with Cool Accidents

This event was created by Mike Corbett from Warner Sound.
It was a celebrity driven shoe art charity auction, in which all the celebrities who took part in it, got the chance to design their own one of a kind sneaker. Each celebrity was provided with a fresh, all white converses to create their artwork with.
At the end , over 70 pairs of one of a kind sneakers were made and auctioned off. All the proceeds raised on the night went to the Breast Cancer Foundation of Australia or a chosen charity decided by the celebrities.

The Ebony Experience

I just had my first interactive restaurant at Ebony. 

This restaurant is a mix of traditional Sudanese cuisine and international cuisine and it offers the first interactive restaurant , where you can actually order your food from a touch screen.

It was opened recently in September 2013 , just after ramadan.

From what me and mother experienced in the restaurant, the service and the food were both great and delicious.

The Interactive Screens 















             They also offer a proper menu for those who aren't used to the interactive screens.

            My Mothers's Order : The Nile Fish With Vegetable and Lemon Sauce for Dhs70

                           Information : Fish, from River Nile, grilled and served in a delicious                                                          lemon sauce with sautéed vegetables and potato wedges




                               My Order : Ebony Corden Bleu for Dhs60

Information : Breaded chicken breast fillets stuffed with mozzarella cheese and aubergines                     served with mustard sauce sautéed vegetables and potato wedges

Fashion Forward Season 2 DXB

Fashion Forward Season 2 last week was the place to be.
It was held in Madinat Jumeriah and all of the fashion A list people were there attending very single event, talk and after party.
Unfortunately due to the fact that it was Eid Al Adha last week, I ended up missing most of of the talks and shows but I did manage to catch the last day.
